❄ There is even MORE snow in the mountains! ❄ On Saturday evening, Lane County Sheriff’s Search & Rescue volunteers responded to assist two hikers who became lost in the area of Salt Creek Falls off of Highway 58 and were not prepared to be out overnight. They were located and guided back to their vehicle. On Sunday, SAR volunteers with the Special Vehicles Group responded to assist the occupants of a sedan that was stuck in snow on a National Forest road south of Brice Creek Road. With temperatures dropping and snow continuing to fall, SAR volunteers found the vehicle and assisted the driver and two passengers back down to the valley.
