Description

Environmental Protection Agency workers remove hazardous materials from a Talent, Ore. neighborhood that was destroyed in the Almeda Fire, a major, destructive part of the 2020 Oregon Labor Day fires. A Climate Superfund could help communities like Talent better prepare for extreme weather.

Oregon lawmakers are making another effort to pass a bill that would make major out-of-state fossil fuel companies pay for the damages and economic losses suffered by Oregonians as a result of extreme weather in the state.
