Lane Co. SO release - On July 27th at about 8:45 pm, Deputies spotted an individual who had active felony warrants. The male, 40-year-old Kyle Littleton Lasater of Cottage Grove, was driving a vehicle on Bryson Sears Road at the time. Deputies attempted to stop Lasater’s vehicle, but he attempted to elude deputies, leading to a vehicle pursuit. Lasater ran from the vehicle in the 78000 block of Bryson Sears Road. Deputies established a perimeter deployed a Lane County K9. With the help of LCSO K9 Tito, Lasater was found a short time later. Lasater was arrested and lodged at the Lane County Jail. He has been charged with the below listed crimes: Forgery in the First Degree; Felon in Possession of a Weapon (2 counts); Criminal Mischief in the First Degree; Attempting to Elude a Police Officer Felony (3 counts); Attempting to Elude a Police Officer Misdemeanor; Reckless Driving (2 counts); Reckless Endangering (3 counts); Violation of Restraining Order; Assault in the Fourth Degree.
