An English Arts & Crafts cottage at 3574 E. Burnside St. in Northeast Portland is for sale. The three story house was built by architect Ellis F. Lawrence for Laurelhurst Park developer Paul C. Murphy. There is a east-oriented sunroom. Architectural historian Eric Wheeler said the English Arts & Crafts house is The house has hardwood floors and two fireplaces. Brokers James Loos and Nicolette Sayles say there are several thousand window panes in the 5,915-square-foot house. The formal dining room has built-in cabinets and an adjacent butler's pantry. Stairs from the foyer connect to the second level. The second story has three bedrooms, including two primary suites. The two bedroom suites each have a bathroom.
