Description

Large surf prevails into Sunday (11/8/26) with a very strong and powerful west swell slamming into our coastline with forecasted 20-25 ft wave heights. The US National Weather Service Medford Oregon has issued a high surf advisory for the event.
Please be advised that southern Oregon beaches will be inundated with heavy surges and a 7.5+ high tide mid morning and a minus tide near sunset. Please stay steer clear of low lying beaches, jetties, and rocks. There are many outstanding and safe elevated viewpoints along the coastline. Know before you go and ask a Lifeguard.
