LANDLINE OUTAGE. ABILITY TO CALL 911 MAY BE IMPACTED  
  
Lumen has reported a landline outage that is affecting phone numbers in the region including Lincoln County. Voice over internet or VOIP phones may be functional.  
   
If you need to call 911 for an emergency and the call does not go through, please try these alternate methods to reach 911.  
- Try using a mobile phone to call and/or text to 911.  
- Try asking a neighbor to check their landline phone or their mobile phone to make the call for you.  
- If you can reach a family/friend outside of the impacted area through an internet connection (through messenger type apps) you can have them call the non-emergency number for you.  
- You may be able to get a call to 911 through the non-emergency number – see numbers listed below.  
- If you need 911 services and are not able to use your phone, you may have to drive or walk to another location such as a business, other residences/neighbors, public safety buildings (fire station) to ask for assistance.
