The Hawthorne Bridge (shown) and Morrison Bridge will be closed for fireworks as of 6 p.m. Friday night.

SPARK UP SOME FUN AT THE LIBRARY The Coos Bay Public Library will be closed July 4 & 5 but will reopen at 10 a.m. Monday, July 7. Tuesday, July 8 from 3-5 p.m. adults and teens are invited to crafternoon. Bring your crafting project and work in the company of other crafters or just sit and relax while doing some coloring. You've forded rivers and have reached the coast. The journey was not easy, and tolls were paid. Traveling through unpredictable weather and the unknown with only a covered wagon and determination. Sound like fun? Register now for Dungeons and Dragons in the library from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8. 18+ Wednesday, July 9 everyone is invited to a Bollywood Dance Party and Celebration. Get ready to dance with DJ Prashant and enjoy samples of Indian Food at this special program celebrating the food and culture of India. 5 - 6 p.m. Dance Lesson, 6 - 7 p.m. Dance Party & Food Do you need a little magic in your life? Join Jay the Magician for music and a magic show on July 10 from 5-6 p.m. at the Library.
