July 14 has officially been Proclaimed as K-9 Tony Day in Tualatin!
After 9 years of service, K-9 Tony, the Tualatin Police Department’s narcotics detection superstar, has retired. Over his career, Tony helped seize:
• 46 lbs heroin
• 48.6 lbs cocaine
• 541.4 lbs meth
• 17.4 lbs fentanyl powder
• 402,336 fentanyl pills
• $2M+ in drug-related cash
One of Oregon’s first K-9s certified in fentanyl detection, Tony has made Tualatin safer for us all.
