Description

Renewable Northwest and other wind energy developers argued that the U.S. Department of Defense's actions have jeopardized $47 billion in investments and thousands of jobs in 21 states. They argued it marked the latest “concerted effort” by the government to stop wind-energy development.

A federal judge on Tuesday said she was inclined to find that the U.S. Department of Defense has violated statutory and regulatory deadlines by freezing its reviews of new wind energy projects.
