The James Beard Public Market is scheduled to open in 2027 at the corner of Southwest Sixth Avenue and Alder Street.

If you ever picked up a drug prescription or an energy drink or a bag of chips at the downtown Portland Rite Aid, you might not have given much thought to what hid behind the fluorescent lights above.
