Description

A pastry box from one of Berlu Bakery's first pop-ups. With his tasting menu closed, James Beard Award winning chef Vince Nguyen began baking during the pandemic as a way to get back to his Vietnamese roots.

Berlu was a rare bird, a fine-dining restaurant in a city with little use for them, offering a meticulous tasting menu that — at least in the early days — clocked in at a relatively affordable $80 a head.
