Description

The BLM (Bureau of Land Management) will be conducting a prescribed burn at the Deans Creek Elk Viewing Area near Reedsport. This planned operation is part of ongoing efforts to improve wildlife habitat and support healthy ecosystems.  When: Tuesday 6/16/2026, Where: Deans Creek Elk Viewing Area, east of Reedsport, Please Note:   Smoke will be visible from Highway 38, Reedsport, parts of Highway 101, and surrounding areas.  While smoke is expected, crews will be working to minimize impacts to nearby communities and traffic visibility.
