A red Toyota truck is towed away from inside Bria Apartments on Southeast 146th and East Burnside Street. The vehicle ended up there after a man and woman were shot allegedly by Border Patrol in Portland, Oregon, Thursday, January, 8, 2026.

Immigrant advocates and faith leaders in Oregon called on the Trump administration to end aggressive tactics used in its mass deportation campaign after at least one U.S. Border Patrol agent shot two people during a stop in Portland.
