Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan was an early investor in ACM Research, a semiconductor equipment supplier that allegedly violated U.S. rules for providing technology that could be used by the Chinese military. Tan served on ACM’s advisory board as recently as April, according to the company’s website, a month after he became Intel’s CEO.
