The president's resignation demand added to the extraordinary pressure on Intel and on CEO Lip-Bu Tan.

Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan addressed what he called “misinformation” about his past in a note to employees late Thursday, hours after President Donald Trump called for his immediate resignation.
