Description

Sonya Fischer, a Democrat and lawyer who lives in Lake Oswego, joined the race for the commission on the last day to file. She challenged Ben West, a Republican and nurse from Wilsonville, who had defeated her in a tight race in 2022.

Sonya Fischer has defeated incumbent Ben West in what was one of the most closely watched races for the Clackamas County Board of Commissioners.
