Description

A People's Depot employee sorts bottle and cans turned in for cash at the nonprofit redemption center's longtime location under the Hawthorne Bridge.

Lawmakers voted overwhelmingly to pass a revised Oregon Bottle bill last year that was meant to, among other changes, create a new alternative redemption center model for large cities.
