Description

The move comes as the Portland City Council is scheduled to cast a final vote Wednesday on the proposed term sheet, which pledges up to $120 million from the city toward the up-front costs of the renovation project as well as $275 million in maintenance over two decades.

Portland leaders will seek to extract millions more annually from the Trail Blazers in exchange for the city’s financial contribution toward a potential renovation of the Moda Center, according to a revised term sheet released late Tuesday.
