Important: Snow Route Notification for Gardner Ridge (Route B) This Afternoon
Dear Brookings-Harbor Families,
Due to snow and ice conditions at higher elevation...s, Gardner Ridge (Route B) will be operating on Snow Route this afternoon, Monday, Feb. 3. Students who normally ride Bus 67/Route B will need to be picked up at the Upper Chetco Rural Fire Protection District building (volunteer fire department) at the intersection of Gardner Ridge and Lewis Creek Road.
Additionally, we encourage all families on all routes to monitor school communications in the morning for potential route changes or school closures depending on weather conditions overnight.
When winter weather impacts travel conditions, the safety of students, families, and staff is our top priority. Please use your best judgment when deciding whether to transport your child to school or to a designated Snow Route bus stop.
