Yamhill County, Ore 20 February 2025- On Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at 9:18 a.m., Oregon State Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 99W, near milepost 30, in Yamhill County. The preliminary investigation indicated a southbound Chevrolet Silverado, operated by Stephen Jerrold Miller (28) of Woodland (WA), attempted to turn onto Highway 18 and entered the path of a northbound Toyota Yaris, operated by Christine Da Ai Yoon (31) of McMinnville, causing a side impact collision. The operator of the Toyota (Yoon) was declared deceased at the scene. The operator of the Chevrolet (Miller) suffered reported minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital. The highway was impacted for approximately 2.5 hours during the on-scene investigation. The cause of the crash is under investigation. OSP was assisted by Dayton Fire and Rescue, McMinnville Fire and Rescue, Newberg-Dundee Police Department, Yamhill County Sheriff's Office, and ODOT.
