CLACKAMAS COUNTY, Ore. (Aug. 18, 2025)- On Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 2:21 p.m., Oregon State Police responded to a single vehicle crash on Highway 224, near milepost 45, in Clackamas County. The preliminary investigation indicated an eastbound Suzuki GSXR-1000, operated by Tony James Gonzalez (52) of Molalla, failed to negotiate a curve, left the roadway for unknown reasons and struck the guardrail. The operator of the Suzuki (Gonzalez) was declared deceased at the scene. The highway was impacted for approximately three hours during the on-scene investigation. OSP was assisted by the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, Estacada Fire, and ODOT.
