Description

The class action suit alleges that each 12-ounce can of Humm Probiotic Kombucha Zero Sugar beverage contains about 10 grams of allulose, roughly 20 times the amount of sugar that federal law permits in a product bearing a “zero sugar” claim.

A federal lawsuit filed in Portland alleges that Humm Probiotic Kombucha engages in deceptive advertising by stating on its labels that its drinks contain no sugar while in fact it sweetens them with allulose syrup, which a federal court recently concluded is a sugar.
