‘Huge Lights Out Alert’ for Oregon aims to help birds find their way home

Peak spring migration times for birds across Oregon peaks April 15-May 19 and fall migration peaks Sept. 19-Oct. 19. The Bird Alliance of Oregon has ideas to help the journey.

People can help millions of migrating birds safely reach their nesting grounds by doing something simple starting tonight, May 1: Turn off outdoor lights.
