The spread of marijuana legalization across much of the United States is changing daily life in retirement communities, senior living developments and age-restricted neighborhoods, where cannabis use among older adults is growing rapidly and creating new social, legal and health-related challenges, The Wall Street Journal reported. As more baby boomers embrace marijuana for pain relief, sleep problems and recreation, retirement communities are increasingly navigating questions that were virtually unheard of a generation ago.
