Inside one of the cabin rooms at the Steamboat Inn, a lodge built in 1957 along the North Umpqua River, which is famous for its fly fishing and peaceful setting in Oregon’s south central Cascade Mountains.

Fly fishers will tell you that the North Umpqua River has some of the best fishing around. The water is clear and cool, the fish can be caught in every season, and the scenery is absolutely astonishing.
