Description

Data centers moved to the top of Hillsboro's agenda after the city began signing long-term incentive agreements with the industry this spring. The city council meets Tuesday to discuss how to respond.

Hillsboro could become the first jurisdiction in Oregon to put a moratorium on new data centers as the city responds to community frustration over new tax breaks for the industry that extend into the 2050s.
