On Sunday at 1:52 p.m. the National Weather Service issued a high wind warning valid from Monday 7 a.m. until Tuesday 4 a.m. for Clatsop County Coast, Tillamook County Coast, Central Coast of Oregon, North Oregon Coast Range and Central Oregon Coast Range.
"South winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph expected," says the weather service. "While the beaches and headlands will experience the strongest gusts, elevations above 1000 feet in the Coast Range too will experience gusts greater than 55 mph."
