The National Weather Service issued a high surf advisory at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday in effect until Sunday at 10 p.m. for South Central Oregon Coast and Curry County Coast.
"Large breaking waves of 21 to 26 feet," can be expected according to the weather service. "The surf will remain hazardous but slightly improve tonight. Conditions will worsen again late Sunday night through Monday evening due to a strong, building, long period swell. The highest surf is expected Monday morning into Monday afternoon. Conditions are expected to slowly improve on Tuesday."
