Kayli Duprest is the Director of Operations for the Domestic Violence Resource Center in Beaverton, Oregon.Rachel Schutz is the Executive Director for the Family Justice Center of Washington County.The center offers a clothing drive for survivors to utilize. They offer: causal, child's and professional articles. Donations will be accepted again in January 2026.The Domestic Violence Resource Center offers free hygienic products such as sanitary feminine products, toothbrushes, toothpaste and more.The pandemic sparked the idea for creating a virtual courtroom that survivors can use to attend their initial restraining order hearings. The center is relocating in January 2026 to a bigger building with more partners.The Domestic Violence Resource Centers recently established a new setup where clients can file restraining orders online in their office.The Domestic Violence Resource Center is house in The Family Resource Center. Inside, there is a food pantry for survivors to receive free food. They are partnered with the Oregon Food Bank, and are currently receiving less product than usual due to the national pause of SNAP benefits.When guests first arrive to the facility, they are able to fill out what the staff call aThe Family Justice Center is changing its name to the Family Peace Center in January.The center offers a variety of free resources for those who need them. Even if they can't provide something specific, they are connected to many other organizations they can refer individuals to.

One of the things people seem to frequently forget about domestic violence is that it doesn’t discriminate, said Kayli Duprest, director of operations for the Domestic Violence Resource Center in Washington County.
