Description

The advisory had been issued for Eastern Columbia River Gorge of Oregon, Lower Columbia Basin of Oregon, Foothills of the Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon, Foothills of the Southern Blue Mountains of Oregon and North Central Oregon.

"Temperatures remain quite hot this evening, but will gradually cool into the overnight hours. A cooler day is in store on Wednesday. Therefore, the heat advisory is being allowed to expire," according to the National Weather Service.
