The director of the Oregon Department of Emergency Management paid a visit to Grant County’s emergency management coordinator on May 2 to get an update on the region’s local emergency management center, see its new equipment and learn about its preparedness for disaster response.
The visit by the department’s director Erin McMahon was part of the agency’s effort to identify areas in different parts of Oregon it needed to target for assistance after an invitation by Grant County Emergency Management Coordinator Eric Bush to learn about the county’s preparedness for disaster response.
