Great News for Our Boating Community

On August 14, 2025, the Sheriff’s Office Marine Division successfully removed the abandoned derelict vessel, “Money Pit,” from the Marshfield Channel. The vessel was safely towed to Charleston Shipyards and removed by Mast Brothers.

This is a big win for our local boaters, as the “Money Pit” will no longer pose a hazard in the bay. Thank you to everyone involved in keeping our waters safe for recreational boating.
