Graphic shows just how low the Mount Hood snowpack is right now

From the top of Cascade Express, the highest lift at Mt. Hood Meadows, the otherwise thin snowpack this year looked almost normal on Sunday, Jan. 11. By Monday, an extreme temperature inversion began to melt the snow.

It’s no secret that the Mount Hood snowpack is low so far this winter.
