SALEM, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Governor Tina Kotek hosted an event Tuesday commemorating the signing of Senate Bill 243, known as the Community Safety Firearms Act. The bill bans rapid-fire devices, which proponents of the measure said turn rifles and handguns into weapons of mass casualty.
