Description
One person was killed and a house at Glascow leveled following an explosion and fire Thursday. Officials says it appears to be an accident. The mid-day explosion could be felt two-miles away and black smoke rising from the debris could be seen around the Coos Bay Estuary. The identity of the elderly male who resided at the residence has not been released. Firefighters and First Responders were slowed by ammunition igniting from within the fire. A large section of the home’s roof blew off and landed on a nearby resident.
