While the national average is flat for the last week, drivers in some states are experiencing severe swings in pricing.

The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded fuel sits at $4.34 per gallon as of Tuesday, Oct. 13. That’s one cent cheaper than it was on Monday and two cents lower than the price a week ago, according to AAA.
