A four-foot female blue shark washed ashore near Avenue U in Seaside yesterday, November 5, and was recovered by Seaside Aquarium. Aquarium staff said it’s hard to know how the fish died and will not be doing a necropsy. Instead, they plan on dissecting the shark with a school group in the future allowing students to learn about the fish.
