A former tribal police officer for the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation was sentenced Friday to seven years and three months in federal prison after he was found with child sexual abuse images and admitted to repeated sexual abuse of a child that began around 1996, according to federal prosecutors.
