OHSU has appointed Tarek Salaway, a veteran West Coast health care executive who has held leadership roles in large medical systems over nearly three decades, to serve as the new CEO of OHSU Health.

Oregon Health & Science University’s former health system chief executive is suing the university for $15.5 million, alleging OHSU fired him after he raised concerns about patient safety, discrimination and the use of public money.
