A former high-ranking CIA official has pleaded guilty to carrying out a nearly $194 million fraud scheme involving gold bars, luxury homes, expensive watches and vehicles, federal prosecutors said. David J. Rush, 49, of Ashburn, Virginia, entered the plea Tuesday in federal court, The Washington Post reported.
