On Thursday at 6:29 a.m. the National Weather Service released a flash flood watch in effect until 11 p.m. for Southern Blue Mountains of Oregon, John Day Basin and Ochoco-John Day Highlands.
The weather service says, “Flash flooding and debris flows caused by excessive rainfall is possible over recent burn scars.”
