On Friday at 8:44 a.m. the National Weather Service released a flash flood watch in effect until 8 p.m. for Harney, Baker and Malheur counties.

The weather service states to be ready for, "There is a threat of flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall from thunderstorms through this evening."
