On Tuesday at 7:02 p.m. the National Weather Service released a flash flood warning in effect until 10 p.m. for Baker and Malheur counties.
"At 7:02 p.m., Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain directly over the DurkeeFire Burn Scar. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly," according to the weather service. "Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, roads, as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas."
