Team Rojo went shopping today with Chamber member Grocery Outlet at their brand-new North Bend store — getting ready for the Firefighters Face Off: Coos Bay vs. North Bend happening October 1 at Pony Village Mall.

Here’s the deal:
Both departments have been challenged to build a structure out of canned and boxed food — and right now, they barely have enough to build something the size of a kids’ Lego display. We need your help to make this event BIG.

That means you only have THIS WEEKEND to shop!

👉 Where to shop & donate:
Support our Chamber members while you give! We recommend shopping at Grocery Outlet, McKay’s Market, or Coos Head Food Co-op — then drop off donations at:
• Coos Bay Fire Station (450 Elrod Ave.)
• North Bend Fire Station (1880 McPherson Ave.)

We chose to donate at the Coos Bay Fire Station, since Chief Jeff Atkins recently presented on Emergency Preparedness with us at WBC, but this isn’t about sides — it’s about supporting our community and helping feed those in need. ❤️

All donations fuel the builds and kick off Bus Jam, helping families right here on the South Coast through South Coast Food Share.
