Feds to appeal broader injunction limiting force against anti-ICE protesters in Portland

Description

A munition thrown by federal officers burst in a shower of sparks during a protest outside the Portland ICE facility in the South Waterfront neighborhood on Sun., Feb. 1.

The federal government plans to appeal U.S. District Judge Michael H. Simon’s order barring federal officers from using indiscriminate force against protesters outside Portland’s immigration office, according to a notice filed in federal court Tuesday afternoon.
