Description

The U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights is looking into whether PSU’s initial response to flyers that President Ann Cudd called “derogatory and vile” violated anti-discrimination laws.

Federal authorities are investigating Portland State University in connection with Islamophobic flyers that appeared on campus last summer and that some faculty and students said didn’t draw a swift enough reaction from administrators.
