Description

The FBI is aware of the offensive and racist mailings sent to individuals and organizations in both Coos and Lincoln counties in Oregon.  The FBI’s mission is to protect the American people and uphold the U.S. Constitution. Actions outside a lawful process infringe on everyone’s rights and law enforcement’s collective ability to keep people safe, regardless of their race.  Community members who feel they are being physically threatened should report those concerns to their nearest local law enforcement agency.

City facilities including the Juanita Pohl Center will be closed on Wednesday, December 25, in recognition of the Christmas Holiday. The Library will close early at 6pm on Tuesday, December 24 and will be closed on Wednesday, December 25. Normal hours will resume on Thursday, December 26. Public safety and other critical services will continue to be provided during this time. Las instalaciones de la ciudad, incluyendo el Centro Juanita Pohl, estarán cerradas el miércoles, 25 de diciembre, en reconocimiento al Día de Navidad. La biblioteca cerrará temprano, a las 6 p. m. el martes, 24 de diciembre, y estará cerrada el miércoles, 25 de diciembre. Las horas normales de operación reanudarán el jueves, 26 de diciembre. Se seguirá ofreciendo seguridad pública y otros servicios críticos durante este tiempo.
