The news that CBS was canceling the show “So Help Me Todd” after only two seasons came as a blow to fans of the comedy-drama, which focused on a lively group of characters, notably Todd Wright (Skylar Astin), a free-spirited private investigator, and his rule-following attorney mother, Margaret Wright (Oscar-winner Marcia Gay Harden).
