Congrats to our TIP award winners! Several other first responders were recognized as well, all for their work on especially traumatic incidents they responded to. TIP volunteers nominated them for the awards. The deputies recognized (from left to right): - Deputy Brooks - Deputy Bastinelli - Deputy Biehler - Deputy Grotefend TIP of Lane County started in 2023 to serve the Eugene and Springfield areas. TIP provides immediate emotional first aid and practical support to survivors of tragedy, in coordination with deputies, police officers, and emergency medical services. Their dedicated volunteers bridge the gap – often at the scene of a traumatic incident – until survivors can rely on their own support systems.
