Oregon's voter rolls are about to be purged, but with little practical effect. A voter casts her ballot inside Multnomah County Elections Division in November 2024.

Oregon Secretary of State Tobias Read announced late Friday he will pare back Oregon’s voter rolls to exclude people who haven’t voted in years or who have moved and not updated their address and who therefore are not sent ballots.
